Functional responsibilities of Role
1)Take responsibility for the training and development of all colleagues within your
team2) Undertake regular appraisals and reviews of all colleagues, ensuring the appropriate follow-up action is taken and performance is managed effectively.
3) Address any issues of poor performance, taking disciplinary action (in conjunction with the Personnel department) as deemed necessary.
4) Communicate all relevant information and ensure all colleagues in your department are aware of Store and Department objectives and how individual roles fit within that.
5) Ensure all staff comply with Store policies and procedures.
6) Recruit appropriate colleagues as necessary.
7) Ensure that the dress standards are adhered to by all team members and that name badges are worn at all times.
8) Ensure that the team are aware of sales targets and encourage them to meet these targets.
