         Role & Responsibility

·         Take responsibility for the training and development of all colleagues within your team

·         Undertake regular appraisals and reviews of all colleagues, ensuring the appropriate follow-up action is taken and performance is managed effectively.

·         Address any issues of poor performance, taking disciplinary action (in conjunction with the Personnel department) as deemed necessary.

·         Communicate all relevant information and ensure all colleagues in your department are aware of Store and Department objectives and how individual roles fit within that.

·         Ensure all staff comply with Store policies and procedures.

·         Recruit appropriate colleagues as necessary.

·         Ensure that the dress standards are adhered to by all team members and that name badges are worn at all times.

·         Ensure that the team are aware of sales targets and encourage them to meet these targets.
